Culinary Institute of America

Wright Contracting has been working with the Culinary Institute of America (CIA) to build culinary learning and exploration destinations since 2003. Projects we have done with the CIA include:

A new demonstration theater kitchen and a new teaching kitchen used for filming and live demonstrations at Copia in Napa. The is a state-of-the-art 8,000 SF remodel of a former gallery featuring a repetition of commercial hoods, Hestan cooking suites, and Hestan prep stations. It includes support areas and new MEP systems.

A 1,950 SF interior refresh of the existing Copia restaurant space in Napa.

The renovation of and addition to historic Greystone Campus’s Gate House Restaurant in St. Helena.

Additional projects have included the Choclatier, new parking lot, multi-purpose room, student dormitory, structural reconstruction of a historic stone building, restoration of a 2-story stone building for the Rudd Center For Wine Education.
